Times like these when I wished I lived in the states

Does Canada belong to the District of Columbia!?! Just kidding, but boy do I wish. Olsenboye is the latest collection from fashion forward twins Mary-Kate and Ashley it has just been released exclusively at JC Penny. Not only are the clothes totally cute, in style and affordable but the pair has also announced an amazing opportunity for aspiring fashion designers aged 13 to 21. All you have to do is submit an original design with a written essay, and poof, you're in. Naturally, I jumped to apply, but when searching the "state" drop-down menu I was devastated to discover that the contest was only open to residents of the 50 states and the District of Columbia (now you get the title and my attempt at a funny line, eh?). Guess I won't be going to NYC to meet the dynamic duo, or be winning a one thousand dollar gift card to JC Penny, or be having my designs featured in the label!!! I AM NOT MAD AT ALL... okay, maybe a little itsy bitsy teeny weeny bit.

In any event, at least I (being a Canadian) am open to purchasing the clothes.

Boyfriend Crop
Super chic and love the patchwork!! Hello, 50 dollars!? What a steal!

Boyfriend Short
Again, you could not go wrong. In my opinion, these are a basic necessity (especially at only 44 dolalrs!!).

XBody
Acid wash, absolutely voguish and a cute little pin to add some edge.

'Parachute' Oxford
In both black and brown, these babies have a vintage feel and are half the price of a designer pair.

'Hailey'
Combat boots are a major fashion staple this season and these provide the popular trend for much less!

Graffiti Cropped Tee
In case you didn't read my side blurb, pale yellow is my fave. Adorable tee, totally fetch (did I just say that? Regina George would NOT approve).

My favourite part of having a blog is knowing others read my foolish thoughts. I'd love to hear from you folks...
