It's about time (Las Vegas, pt. 1)

I have finally organized my photos and at last, I am ready to post about my fabulous trip to Viva Las Vegas. Over three posts, I hope to highlight a few aspects of the trip and give my insight into what Las Vegas is all about. So, here goes nothing!

We arrived at the Wynn/Encore Hotel (we stayed on the Encore side which is why I was able to take such a great picture of the Wynn building) sometime in the afternoon (around 3ish if I can remember correctly) (I like brackets). The rooms were elegant and sizable with an L-shaped couch in each one.

To the left is the room my parents had and on the right is the room my siblings and I were so fortunate to stay in. I must say, this hotel thinks of everything. Personal fax machines, TV's in the bathroom and oh I almost forgot, automated lights/curtains. The decor along with the layout of the room was fresh and sophisticated; a nice change in my opinion.

My new Marc Jacobs tote (purchased on my parent's trip to Chicago) was put to great use throughout my stay in Vegas. Not only did it hold all my junk on the plane ride to and from, but it also served as a perfect pool bag!

Our first night, we chose to dine at Joe's Stone Crab located in the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace. While waiting for our table (and let me tell you, even with a reservation, we waited an hour) we wasted no time. Shopping is taken very seriously in my family!

Above is a picture that was actually taken by accident. I did not realize that I had set the shutter speed on my camera incorrectly and thus, I ended up with this picture (though I actually like how it turned out). The Pucci store was the first of many stores I set foot in and it did not fail to impress! I wanted to take pictures in a fabulous Pucci chair to show to my readers but due to security reasons, I was not allowed :( . Nonetheless, I was given permission to take a photo of the following pillow. I quite enjoy the colours that were included and was thinking of incorporating this colour scheme into my bedroom. What do you think?

A quick photo-op before I entered Scoop (which was so great we went back a total of 4 times).

What I'm wearing: Rag and Bone pin-striped blouse, H&M Kids jean shorts, Prada sandals, vintage purse (note: I do not have a white toe, it is simply wrapped in bandage. Not to worry, it did not interfere with my shopping experience).

After a long night, we arrived back to the hotel where my sister (after hours of complaining that her feet were sore) had a little wardrobe malfunction. Needless to say, a visit to the shoemaker was necessary!

Stay tuned for pt. 2! xx

My favourite part of having a blog is knowing others read my foolish thoughts. I'd love to hear from you folks...
