Are there enough words in the world to sum up my gratitude? I have just learned that the mecca of all fashion galas, the esteemed MET Ball, is to be aired via live satellite for the first time ever tomorrow night. If you thought my eyes were glued to the computer screen during the Coachella live stream, just wait until tomorrow. No crane, forklift, or wrecking ball will be enough to peel me away from the over-the-top embellished frocks that are soon to be in my (virtual) presence.
This year, the MET's Spring Costume Institute exhibition is honouring Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada, exploring the "striking affinities between two Italian designers from different eras."
So in my own, rather cordial fashion, I invite you all to join me in the virtual screening of this historical event tomorrow night, 6:30-8:30 PM EST, on Amazon, Vogue, or the MET.
Primping time. xx

My favourite part of having a blog is knowing others read my foolish thoughts. I'd love to hear from you folks...
