SPOILER ALERT (well, outfit wise)

Honestly, WHERE DO I START!?!? Sex and the City 2 was undeniably scrumptious in every possible way. Never mind the fact that the entire audience was howling at nearly every line, but the outfits were indescribably spectacular. The definition of fabulous. Patricia Field you have truly outdone yourself! The girls rocked every single look and the element of "sparkle", something often brought up by SJP in the movie, was always present. If you have read the reviews and are doubting whether you should see the film, let me just say, a man must have written those reviews. This movie is totally fun, hilarious and shines from beginning to end. While I admit the movie lacked a substantial story-line and that it was more of a follow-up with the lives of the ladies, it is still enjoyable. Below are all the pictures I could find (never has google been such a disappointment) of some of the outfits in the film.

Arriving in Abu Dhabi

According to the Huffington Post, Patricia Field chose that Carrie wear this head wrap when arriving in Abu Dhabi as she believes that when traveling to a country other than your own, it is important that you respect the customs and traditions of that country. She refers to the saying "when in Rome, do as the Romans do" and thus, SJP arrives in Abu Dhabi wearing the metallic head wrap shown above.

Only SJP, or should I say Carrie, could work a dress covered in newspaper prints

Before I depart, I have three things left to say:
1. Rest assured, this is not the last post on Sex and the City 2.
2. I wore my "I'm a Carrie" shirt loud and proud while watching the movie and at dinner afterwards.
3. At one point in the movie, they flash the screen of an ihome alarm clock which reads the date August 26th. THAT IS MY BIRTHDAY!!!! If you wondered what I did when I saw this, I started with a scream, then a few hyperventilations, followed by me continually whispering "it's a sign from above". I felt that needed to be shared.

Remember when this post was supposed to be about Vegas? xx
