On the street

I've been meaning to write a blog post about the superbly talented (and unique I might add) Bill Cunningham after seeing his namesake documentary sometime last year. Known for his candid street-style photography, Bill is a charming fellow who writes for the New York Times. Each column focuses on a centralizes theme that Bill has found to be a growing trend on the fashionable streets of NYC. His constant uniform of the blue work jacket and khaki pants are recognized by the fashion world as though they were the most expensive couture, because when Bill cycles by, the fashion world stops to catch a glance and if they are so lucky, to pose for a photo. Even Ms. Anna Wintour has noted that "we all get dressed for bill." Below are some examples of Bill's work.

Simply charming. xx

My favourite part of having a blog is knowing others read my foolish thoughts. I'd love to hear from you folks...
