They were sure keeping busy over at Dolce and Gabbana! I must say that in general, the Spring/Summer 2011 RTW Collections were not their best this year. Though I did like some other pieces, the collections as a whole were not up to par (though others may beg to differ). To end on a high note, I am sticking with the dynamic duo that have seemed to hit all the right notes with their two collections. The D&G (lower-end line of Dolce and Gabbana) collection was yet again, perfect. The incredible contrast yet similarity between the D&G show and the Dolce and Gabbana show make the collections that much more appealing; both are very flirty, feminine and pretty collections (L.O.V.E.).
While the Dolce and Gabbana show presented clothing that was mostly black and white, the D&G show let off a more youthful vibe with its bold, clashing florals. J'aime beaucoup!! From intricate lace detailing to vivacious floral patterns, it is clear that Dolce and Gabbana definitely takes the cake this season.
